The multipurpose formula of professional-grade Steam Guard DK handles the jobs of six different products. It’s an economical and effective way to avoid problems that can shut down a steam boiler.
Use Steam Guard DK for steam boilers typically used for comfort heating in office buildings, lodging, retail, health care, airports, and schools. Also processing functions, including running production equipment, sterilizing and cleaning, and food processing. Not for use in aluminum boilers or chillers.
  • ‘Decharacterized’ formula is suitable for use in food processing facilities
  • Protects steam lines from the corrosive effects of dissolved gasses
  • Prevents scale and mineral deposits from hard water
  • Controls rust and corrosion that damage tubes and pipes
  • Stops free oxygen from pitting and causing tube failure
  • Improves blowdown by suspending solids for easy removal
  • Anti-foam formula controls frothing, priming and carryover
